Our success in providing timely service with minimal customer down-time is based on having a large inventory of frequently used parts on hand.  Whenever possible, our technicians will arrive onsite with a kit of commonly-used parts and up-to-date service manuals to facilitate same-day repairs.  In the event a repair return call is necessary, parts are priority ordered and often will be available for overnight shipment.  Should an unforeseen problem arise with an instrument in the histology field requiring a longer period of down-time, many loaner instruments are available for your convenience.



MTS employs only the most qualified Service Technicians.  All of our Techs have a combination of Biomedical/Electronic Engineering education, manufacturer-conducted Factory Service Training sessions and countless hours of practical field service experience to draw upon.  In addition to our technicians, our knowledgeable office staff is always prepared to assist with scheduling and answering questions if needed.



All of our service work is guaranteed for a full 30 days after the call is completed.  In the event a return visit is required to resolve the original service call, it will be done at no additional charge. 



We offer three basic levels of coverage agreements on the instruments we service to cater to your laboratory's specific needs:

Total Service:  Recommended for high-volume operations requiring maximum equipment uptime.  Total Service covers annual preventive maintenance, repair and replacement parts, labor, mileage and travel.

Service Assurance:  Includes everything covered by the Total Service package except parts.

  • Minimize variable costs for normal repairs

Preventive Maintenance:  Provides annual scheduled preventive maintenance and replacement of specific parts in accordance with the Marston Technical Service Preventive Maintenance ("PM") Checklists.  Additional repairs and/or parts, along with travel and labor are billed separately.

MTS's normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m., excluding holidays.  All service levels are subject to terms and conditions.
